IMG_9519WEBSMALLThe holiDAZE has kicked in. You’re off your normal schedule. You’re not in your own kitchen, you’re in your Aunt Nell’s 50’s flashback instead. Or perhaps you’ve lucked out this year and you’re  in a condo in Hawaii or Fiji. Whatever the deal, your gastro tract may be a bit twisted and the appliances you’re looking at may be in a need of an update. This smoothie can be made in any blender. Tossing in the spinach will help to balance out the junk you’ve been “forced” to eat since Halloween. Give it a cool name and even your kids will drink it… or in my case a picky little brother.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 bag of fresh spinach
6 stalks of fresh mint leaves (pull from stalk)
2 cups of almond milk
1.5 cups of yogurt
1/2 cup of semi sweet chocolate chips
1 banana (to sweeten)
1-2 cups of ice
