Get movin’. 30 minutes of daily exercise will help you stay regular. Movin’ begats movin. It’s a fact.

Get drinkin’. Water that is. If you’re dehydrated the move won’t be smooth. Just sayin’. You need to be drinking ½ your weight in ounces of water per day. If you’re 130 pounds that means you need to be drinking 65 ounces of water per day. That’s at least 5 glasses of water! Get yourself on a good pro- biotic and take it daily.  Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts. They promote a healthy digestive system or healthy gut which leads to regular trips to the potty.

Stop juicing and start blending. Juicing takes a lot of the fiber out of your fruits and veggies. If you start blending them instead, you’re nutritional and fiber intake will be much higher.

Get allergy tested.  Many people find they get constipated when they consume dairy products or grains they are allergic to. Try eliminating what you think is agrivating your colon for a couple of weeks then slowly add items back in one by one. Your body will tell you very quickly what it can’t handle if you pay attention to the signs.
